My name is Amanda, and I am the creative soul behind Art with Amanda. Born in beautiful Bermuda, I had the incredible opportunity to travel around the world, exploring different cultures and soaking in the diverse artistic influences. However, my heart led me back to the edge of the Atlantic, where I now reside on the stunning west coast of Ireland in County Kerry, surrounded by my loving family and a delightful assortment of pets, including dogs, cats, sheep, and even bees.

My artistic journey began early on, and it continued to flourish as I pursued a college education. However, my true passion lies in preschool education and working with children with additional needs. Witnessing the profound impact of art as a means of communication and self-expression, I realized that my purpose was to make art accessible to all.

Driven by this vision, I took the leap and established my own independent studio. Accessibility is at the core of everything I do. I believe that everyone, regardless of their abilities, should have the opportunity to explore and express themselves through art. Through adaptive techniques and a wide range of materials, I ensure that my studio is a welcoming space where individuals of all backgrounds and abilities can freely engage in the creative process.

Specialising in illustrating and mixed media, I have honed my skills to create captivating and unique artwork. My illustrations reflect my vibrant spirit and love for nature, often infused with a touch of whimsy and magic. Sharing my passion for art is what truly fuels me – witnessing the joy and growth it brings to others is a constant source of inspiration.

When I'm not immersed in my studio, you'll find me in the ocean. My daily ritual of a dip in the Atlantic.Its where I recharge and reset for the day ahead. Along with the sea I cherish moments with my family and tending to my pets. County Kerry's breathtaking natural beauty serves as a constant wellspring of inspiration for my artwork.
